Join our 2nd Annual Holiday Drive for Domestic Violence Survivors

CCWA'S 2nd ANNUAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVOR'S HOLIDAY DRIVE

SHARE COMFORT AND JOY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

During this time of COVID there has been an increase in the rate of domestic violence. Pre-COVID, one in four women experienced intimate partner abuse. In an effort to let our sisters know they have not been forgotten during this holiday season, members of CCWA have the opportunity to sponsor a woman or a woman and her children who are spending the holidays alone in a shelter in Columbia or Greene County. We hope to bring a bit of joy to their lives by providing them with gifts and necessities.

If you can help, please respond to ccwomensalliance@gmail.com and designate a sponsorship for a single woman or a woman and her family. Sponsorships can be shared.

The shelters will be providing us with personal information such as ages, sizes and wish lists on or about December 1st. A Gift Giver will be anonymously paired with a Gift Receiver. Gifts must be purchased, wrapped, tagged and delivered to Pam Kline (tpklinee@gmail.com) by December 20th.

Thank you to everyone who has already expressed interest in participating and if you would like to help wrap, tag and deliver, let us know!

Gratefully,
Pam Kline
